I am an aquatic ecosystem ecologist interested in how geomorphology and climate control the movement of materials and energy through watersheds and food webs. Understanding fundamental physical controls on element cycles and food web processes will help us maintain productive, intact freshwater systems even as human impacts on these systems grow.
